The MICRO PANELS from the product ranges XV100, XV200, XV400, XVS400 and XVH300 have a registered amount of license points. License points are needed to run specific functions on the unit:

• Runtime for the visualization (GALILEO or EPAM)
• Communication (e.g. Ethernet, CANopen, Siemens MPI)
• Tools (e.g. CE-Telediag, S7 PG router)
• XSoft-CoDeSys-2-Runtime for PLC functionality (not possible with a XVH300 )

To access the needed function of the unit you must activate a specific amount of license points. Standard units posses 140 license points on delivery and allow e.g.:

• Visualization functionality GALILEO-Runtime (100 license points)
• Communication to an external PLC via Siemens MPI (40 license points)

If the amount of registered license point on the unit is not enough to access all needed functions then the license points total has to be increased. For this you need one or more license product papers.
