How do I license Galileo Open?
Galileo Open can not be licensed online. Fill out the license product paper as described and send it back to us. The 12-digit ID number is the serial number of your system. The serial number will be displayed by the license administrator on the system when starting Galileo Open.

You will get the activation key from us.

If you have any questions or problems contact us at licensing-automation@eaton.com or call our support.

I have entered the number of the license product paper, but the format is not accepted.
You tried to enter the number of the license product paper in the license administrator. But this number, together with the serial number of the device, is required to execute the online licensing.

At the end of the onlince licensing you will get the activation key in the format nnn-xxxx-yyyy-zzzz:
nnn = three-digit number which accords the number of license points (e.g. 100)
xxxx-yyyy-zzzz = random generated four-digit number pads separated by hyphens

The following message appears when the GF1 Panel is started: "Warning Kernel. 346520: Error initializing IDE Drive C:" The message appears several times. The project can no longer be started.
This problem occurs if the PCMCIA card was formatted under Windows XP. Windows XP used a type of formatting (Big DOS FAT) that is not supported by the GF-1 Panel. Contact Support if you wish to reformat cards correctly that were formatted in Windows XP.
Correct procedure when using Galileo up to version 4.20.x in Windows XP for GF1 Panels:
Do not format the PCMCIA card and carry out the project download using a serial download.
